Jóvenes en Permacultura

Jóvenes en Permacultura / Youth in Permaculture Mallorca creating roots

::  youth  ::  education  ::  cooperation  ::

Jóvenes en Permacultura Mallorca (JEP/YIP) is the union of a group of young people with different skills and backgrounds but with common concerns and ambitions. A space where young people can have fun, learn, experiment and socialise with practices that support a healthy and more sustainable life, under the three ethics of permaculture; Care for nature, care for people and fair sharing.

Featuring:

Eddie Brown - Permacultor, co-creator of JEP Mallorca and a mycology enthusiast

Auba Riera - Conscious social media and marketing manager, JEP member and co-creator of Permakids Mallorca

More Details

Jóvenes en Permacultura was born out of the need to create a space where we can connect with nature, learn, teach and exchange topics such as organic farming, bio-construction, analog forestry, soil management, seed conservation, animal breeding and management, native species, climate change, Mallorcan ethnobotany, rural techniques, social welfare, good community practices, recycling, education, sustainability and solidarity.

With these subjects, we hope to offer benefits to the community such as creativity, mental health, education, entrepreneurship, support and connection with nature and our roots, being a point of connection between people and other groups.
